Hey class,
My name is Jeffery and I am very excited to work with every one of you. I'm theatre education major with a goal to teach high school theatre. I love to perform and direct.
I have thought about it long and hard and I have 3 goals for me to achieve:
1. Be able to slow down my speech. Because I'm a naturally fast speaker
2. I want to be able to take my character to the next level and learn all there is to be an effective actor
3. I want to become a more confident in all my solo performances.
Each goal to me tends to be a struggle and I know with this class i can make it work.
How I'm going to achieve these goals is:
1. For each performance I am going to speak clearer and make sure I rehearse with a slower speech.
2. This I am going to listen to all the techniques that is taught and make sure I comprehend and apply to every performance I'm in.
3. Finally, I'm going to make sure that I rehearse and that I always feel good in everything i put together because all my performances are from my heart.
Knowing these goals, I will focus on making you more aware of it in class...
ReplyDeleteI too am on the same path, and to teach just shows a lot about someone's character. I will look forward to your presence in this class. Because I can learn a lot from someone who is on a similar journey. ^_^
